		<description>Not sure. I think they could guess, but unless they are involved in programing, mathc etc. they probably wouldn't realise how complex some algorithms can be.</description>

		<description>Thanks, Mutiny. Ask's main problem is that Google built a stronger brand and they have to come up with some clear, head turning idea. Ask3D looks nice, and the viral campaign seems to be working, but do you think most people know what is an algorithm?</description>

On Ask, I think the reason is is so unpopular with searches is due to the fact that it relies so heavily on topical authority.  A lot of searches on Ask will yeild a selection of information site, whereas many people will be looking for commercial sites. For this reason, I would imagine that its core user base are those involved in accademia.</description>
