The service I have been putting together list sites by Y! links, PR and i’m currently working on the WHOIS to get the age. The service will start with about 10,000 domains with much more to be added shortly after.
I think that would be a very useful service

I had been looking for a way to buy up old domains for a while, but the pickings were pretty slim. The only real sites out there were:

http://www.yourmaindomain.com/ - which has very reasonable prices but most of their domains are useless.

A few days ago I came across http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/viewcategory?categoryid=1, which has a few good domains for sale but higher prices and they are not listed by PR, links, age etc.

The service I have been putting together list sites by Y! links, PR and i'm currently working on the WHOIS to get the age. The service will start with about 10,000 domains with much more to be added shortly after.

Some more good ideas here. I’m particularly interested to hear more about any expirience you have in sponsorship as SEO.

I will write a more detailed post about this and another technique that I've found to be very useful and profitable.

I am currently working on the net’s first ‘old domains with seo value’ marketplace
Sounds like something really useful. Please keep me posted ;-)

PS: I sent you an email to the address you provide but it seems is the wrong one.

Buying established domains is an interestig one, although as you touch on can be wrought in trajedy if you don't know how to identify certain negative singals. I am currently working on the net's first 'old domains with seo value' marketplace - should be up next week :)
